Everyone talks about business listings, news, weather, movies, events, etc etc when it comes to local. But it turns out that people care about the obituaries too.
This one took me by surprise. While the responses focused on gags, I did look for some more concrete numbers on how popular obituaries are – with no luck.

That’s why I bought obituaries.com.ph a year back. Was planning to work on it for local obits here in the Philippines, perhaps in partnership with local mortuary/memorial park businesses . I wasn’t able to get it started, though.
I didn’t realize I’d be more deeply involved with this industry, though until recently!
At any rate, what about a partnership?
Maybe this could get iBegin or isMyHome started here locally.
