I discovered something about Google today:

“Sorry, Google does not serve more than 1000 results for any query. (You asked for results starting from 1000.)”

Interesting.

Yeah they’ve had that for ages.

24 hours later, still at 9 billion – I wonder if that is the ‘size’ of Google’s index?

Thanks for sharing… been watching this across some other sites in the past few days. Saying 550,000 now… Google has been rolling out a change to how it handles supplemental results over the past few weeks. I would expect that the 550k number showing now is where you’ll sit once the shuffle is all said and done. Not many pages on the web would be able to support 9 billion pages indexed :)

Yeah down to 700k now.

Thing is – the site has a total of like 150 pages :)

… or just checked, our sitemap [for iBegin Source] has 111 pages.
