I’m alctaluy looking for something similar to this. Am glad you wrote about it. The subscribe to comments feature is flooding my inbox with emails/comments that I no longer wish to keep track of so something like this would be more appropriate.

Hey man. I stumbled on to Leangains while searching for a way to cut that last little bit of fat that I have not been able to lose after going Paleo and still lifting. After I went through the site I am like "Nice pics but where the hell are the actual instructions?" So, I opened Word and started compiling stuff. I got sick of this and found your summary. THANK YOU! This is exactly what I was looking for. I started a week ago and I can already tell I have lost significant fat near my lower abdomen. Plus, I love the stripped down workouts. Anyway, it looks like you put a lot of work into the FAQ and I just wanted you to know that somebody out there found it and was helped.

The company that I'm associated with is also a victim of false negative and positive reviews (1) for our company. It seems like they invent this stuff.

So far I'm not doing too bad with the contact email: csnotify@merchantcircle.com

However, we may consider joining any class action lawsuit.

[...] This post talks about some of the early vision for BlogFlux. My original plan with Blog Flux was always to be more than just a blog directory – it was to be a clearing house of anything and everything related to blogs. Having to bounce through multiple sites for simplistic services seemed a bit cumbersome. Bloggers were forced to go to X site for a button maker. And then Y site to perform pings. And then Z to see their statistics. The entire process was extremely cumbersome – remembering multiple logins was a headache. [...]

Yes, totally unhelpful and almost intentionally misleading information. What's also frustrating is if you see an opportunity to shed light on a subject, the topic is invariably closed. This would not be so bad if you could just avoid Yahoo! Answers altogether. But now Google is displaying these useless "answers" high in their search results. So now when you are looking for actual answers, you must add "-site:yahoo.com" to your search string.

I just filed a complaint against Merchant Circle w/ the "BBB". They continue to list my private home address and phone number (I am on the "Do Not Call List") as a business. My home is in a quiet old subdivision in Fairfax VA. It is not a business!, never has been, and I never authorized any "listing" of "My home" as a business. Why is it so difficult to get this deleted !. Calls to my home all day and night, A "map" to my front door, My good name and home address "Listed". I fear that "MY home is a hi-jacked listing. <>> Merchant Circle..shame on you. SCAM!!!

Here's another example. Someone asked if she should be afraid of a pitbull in her neighborhood.

I answered that one saying, that any dog can bite unexpectedly, but pitbull type dogs, when they do bite, can cause major damage because of their tendancy to bite down and not let go, often causing severe injuries or, not in some cases even death. (Granted it is not just pitbulls, but a couple of other types of dogs as well. )

It's not as if this should be big news to anyone. It's a fact that is easily verifiable.

However, what I didn't realize is that there is a very militant community out there that completely denies that pitbulls could ever be anything but sweet and lovable ("my two year old sleeps with our pitbull every night, etc etc") and actually believes there is some sort of conspiracy and media campaign to besmirch the reputation of their wonderful and loving pooch.

Naturally my attempt to write a matter of fact answer that did not take sides got so many thumbs down from the ("my pitbull is a little angel" crowd) it got "hidden because of low rating".

The answer chosen by the asker stated that pitbulls are not dangerous at all and are cuddly and lovable and would never hurt a fly.

This is par for the course for what happens every day on Yahoo answers.
